Incinerator Factory Project

Project Introduction:

The area of the incinerator is so huge. There is not so many people could handle all of the equipments. This is why they have to build a automatic monitor system to show all of the status. All of the signals will connect to Omron PLC. In the office, we got to build one SCADA to connect with Omron PLC. The operators could know the real time status and the values of the signals. Besides, the rest of the staffs could see the same figures as the office by IE Browser.



System Requirement:

  • 1 set SCADA

  • 1 set OPCTechs Omron OPC Server

  • 1 piece N-Port

    Conclusions:

    There are so many different kind brand of SCADA in the world. My customer will assign the familiar one for their own. Using the OPC Server, you do not have to care about what SCADA you use for the communication. Just use OPC server for the communication and connect with the OPC clients. It’s easy and efficiency.



    Cannonry Compel Birds System for Military (Taichung Airport)

    Project Introduction:

    In the airports, the birds always gather together and flying beyond the airport sky. When the airplane departures board or landed, the lives for the passengers are in danger. This is a very serious problem for all of the airports in the world. My customer developed the cannonry to compel the birds and prevent the birds imbibed into the engine of the plane. We got to design the percussion hardware module for the cannonry and the software system. All of the communication protocol should be encode and decode.



    System Requirement:

  • 1 set of SCADA (special function)

  • Encrypt Modbus OPCtechs OPC Server

  • Fiber to Ethernet converters
  • 25 pieces of Percussion hardware module for the cannonry

  • 25 pieces of motor control modules

    Conclusions:

    There are so many special cases with high interest in the world. Te more difficulty, the better price it goes. This is a very typical case for high interest. In this case, we got to develop the hardware for saving the electricity and solve the communication problems. My customer inquire all of the communication should be encoded and decoded by the hardware and the software. The DATABASE should follow the 3DES encode rules to be encrypted. When the first case was done, it’s stable and my customer applied for the copyright. The system will use in all of the commercial airports and the military airports in the world.

    M-system DCS integration case

    Project Introduction:

    This is a specific case in pump station. My customer used M-system DCS to connect with all of the I/O signals. The M-system DCS is a special hardware and most of the SCADA do not provide the driver. We design the OPC Server to connect with Fix32 SCADA for our customer.



    System Requirement:

  • 1 set Fix32 with OPCTechs M-System OPC Server

  • Industry PC with Windows NT 4.0

    In this case, we use Fix32 to combine with OPCTechs OPC server.



    Case for Water Corporations

    Project Introduction:

    OPCTechs Corp. built three monitoring stations for each subsidiary pool and a central monitoring station for Water Corporation. Through the monitoring program we provide, all the data will be sent to the central monitoring station, so that the engineers in the Water Corporation could analyze the data and make an appropriate decision for their job.

  • CIMPLICITY (SCADA)

  • IFIX (SCADA)
  • 3 Industry computers with OPC SERVER and CIMPLICITY

  • Industry Computer with IFIX program used for server

    Conclusions:

    It is not an easy job to executing effective monitoring in water corporation, power plant or gas stations, because the stations are all divided on different places. Fortunately, through OPC Server, all the data could be sent to the central monitoring station in TCP/IP way.



    Case for Power Plant

    In a power plant, GE PLC plays an extremely important role in instrument integration. The case below shows an engineer obtains data through GE SRTP OPC Server which is programmed with VB programming language.
